Stop Smoking Help from Your Friends by Joanna Goodswell

It is a proven fact that talking about what ails us very often is the one thing needed to start solving a problem. Hence it might very well be that simply calling your friends will be enough to carry you through times of doubt. If not, your supporter will gladly lend you hand and offer a ton of reasons why you should stay steadfast.
More often than not often we look way too far for a helping hand for our problems, while a helping hand is right in front of us. One of the best places to find a helping hand is our friends and families. There is no other group of people that will be as willing as them to lend you a hand in your efforts.

It is never too late to quit smoking - and help is just around the bend: ask your friends and family if they would like to support you. Let them give you permission to call them, whenever you are in dire need of support. It is very likely they will accept your request without a second thought.

You should make sure to give them a few words of warning. If you ever tried to quit before you know in what bad emotional state a quitter may find him or herself in. Your friends have to know about this. Make sure they understand to never take anything you might say personally, that it is the little nicotine addicted monster inside you doing dirty talk.

Of course, you should not take the whole thing too far. It will do you no good to call somebody at 4am in the morning, for instance. Be sensible about giving your supporters phone calls, always try to come to terms with a bad situation on your own first.

Still, be not shy. Take advantage of this life buoy. Make sure you actually call out for help to receive it. Your beloved ones most certainly are not clairvoyant. Without you telling them that you need their aid, they will not offer it to you. So, call them when you need them.

Very often talking about your current feelings and doubts will be help enough. Uttering ones feelings always has a very positive effect on our emotions. If this is not enough your friends can support you by giving you reasons to stay steadfast, by soothing your bad feelings, and simply by the fact that they are there for you.

In my personal experience involving your family and friends in the process has proven to be one of the most effective kinds of stop smoking help.

Involving your family and friends is a very straightforward and yet incredibly effective way of getting quit smoking help ... do not hesitate to take advantage of it.
